Dome Drum Covers

Forget the conventional round drum covers and go for more colorful and radical ones. If you like the idea, these dome drum covers might be the ones best for your drums.

Dome Cover for 30 gallon drums

If you have 30 gallon open-head drums, these dome drum covers could be the perfect fit for you! With 20 gauge steel construction and self-closing "PUSH" door, the cover is fire safe and self-extinguishing when used on a steel drum. The covers are coated with UV stabilized powder finish and securely thumbscrewed on top of the drum.

Available in the colors of Black (BK), Empire Green (EG) and Brown (BR).

Dome Cover for 55 gallon drums

Then we also have dome covers for 55 gallon open-head drums. Similar features with the above 30 gallon drum covers, with the only difference in the colors of choice: Black (BK), Red(R) and Empire Green (EG).

Polyethylene Dome Cover

This one looks rather different. The cover with the self-closing door is made of molded polyethylene which guarantees strength that it won't crack, dent or rust. The self-closing door keeps the odor in but vermin out on a 55 gallon open-head drum. Available in the colors of Black (BK), Blue (BL), Red (R) and Gray (GY).

Zee Line Flow Meters

One great brand of flow meters is Zee Line, which offers different types of flow meters in different price range. Check out some of the summaries of the models below and let's see if one of them suits your pump.

Zee Line Low Cost Electronic Flow Meter

This low cost flow meter is suitable for use with oils, lubes and coolants. Made of rugged glass-filled nylon case and aluminum housing on the oscillating piston metering unit, the flow meter dispenses in pints, quarts, liters or US gallons up to 1000 units and totalizes in liters or gallons up to 100,000 units. It has simple two-button operation with 5-digit liquid crystal display with 15/16" high numerals. The flow meter works with a lithium battery power unit that stays for 3 to 5 years.

This Zee Line flow meter comes with 1.5" NPT inlet and outlet and is priced at $291.54 each.

Zee Line Tough and Accurate Electronic Flow Meter

Another electronic flow meter is this Zee Line product with trigger-operated nozzle. Also designed for petroleum products and other automotive liquids, this flow meter has more or less the same features with the electronic flow meter discussed above. But with the lightweight and perfectly balanced nozzle, this flow meter has a comfortable grip when dispensing the petroleum products at the flow rates of ¼ to 4 GPM up to 1500 psi. Priced at $409.20, the quality matches the price as it is tough and provides accurate measurement.

Zee Line Automatic Dispenser and Meter for Motor Oils

For motor oils, you may want to check out this Zee Line automatic dispenser and flow meter. With an automatic metering, the flow meter performs accurate and waste-free delivery. Constructed of all metal with Buna-N seal, ½" NPT inlet and outlet, the meter is perfect for high volume use. All you need to do is to set the dial to the desired quantity (1-60 units) and squeeze the trigger.

Buy a box of the Ansell disposable gloves, and you will get 100 gloves inside made of 4 mil 100% nitrile.

Be ambidextrous with the Ansell Touch n Tuff gloves and be worry-free of any attaching powder (if you don't want it). They have absolutely no fillers, silicones or plasticizers and they are compliant with FDA safety regulations on food processing applications.

Polyethylene Drum Covers

Then there are these polyethylene drum covers, which are designed to for 55 gallon steel drums either open head or tight head. They are weather resistant and strong enough to withstand moderate stacking.

The drum covers are inexpensive and functional to their value. Made of vacuum-formed .040" low-density polyethylene, the covers resist most chemicals. They also close tightly on chime of tight-head 55 gallon steel drums and on locking ring of open-head ones.

You have two kinds of different polyethylene drum covers to choose from. First one is based on the color. You have black covers and clear covers. Each has its own advantage. Black covers resist ultraviolet while clear ones allow reading of drum labels without having to remove the cover. To know which is suitable for you is obviously by knowing which advantage that you intend to take and what type of steel drums you have at your workplace. If you store your drums inside, you don't need to protect them from UV so clear covers will do best for them. But if the drums are placed outside, you should take the black covers.

Premium Reusable Drum Covers

The following drum covers fit tightly on steel drums. They are reusable and they protect the stored items in the drum from severe weather. Why so? Because these drum covers stay flexible at -50° F and still hold their shape at 275° F! They are also made of FDA compliant material that makes them safe to protect food-related items.

These covers are Drum Pal covers. They are said to be the best protective drum covers as they are made of LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene). LLDPE is highly resistant to cut and tear as well as ultraviolet light and most chemicals. After one use, you can reuse the covers on other drums about dozen times more. They also have an absolute strength that they can handle stack pallets of filled drums without making any damage to the cover.

Nitrile Chemical Safety Gloves

Exair Chip Vac System

Now for solid material spills in the form of metal, plastic or wood chips, you might want to use this Exair chip vac system. It is definitely faster than the normal scoops and scrapers as it picks up dry or wet chips and transport them directly into your 55-gallon drum and it will have no moving parts that will wear out!

The chip vac system is air operated. As it works, it creates cyclonic action that vacuums all kinds of chips, whether they are wet or dry, into the 55-gallon container. There is a 0.1 micron filter bag that traps dusty materials like absorbents and this will ensure the surrounding air clean.

Ultra TrackPans for Railcar Spill Containment

At industrial rail sidings, we can expect spilling to occur frequently. To contain the spill as well as to maintain the facilities, you will most likely need Ultra TrackPans for Railcar Spill Containment.

Constructed of all-polyethylene material, the trackpans are rugged and capable of withstanding harsh chemicals. They are designed modular as to let below-grade piping be installed to channel large spills. These are also strong and great to withstand temperatures from -40°F to 140°F.

The 9' TrackPan system is available to purchase with or without cover. But you will most definitely get two center-pan and four side-pan of 4.5' sections, which are connected "end to end" with bulkhead fittings. This will allow spills to flow from one pan to the others where the 9' system will capture up to 160 gallons of fluid. You are also entitled to get gaskets, hardware and grates. Grates give firm support for foot traffic and vehicular traffic and the gaskets prevent spills from falling between rails and trackpans..  

Another benefit that you can obtain from these ultra trackpans is that all surfaces resist slips even when they are wet or oily. If you add a polyethylene cover, it will keep rainwater out of the pans and thus serves an effective storm water management. These covers are to be removed when railcars arrive for loading or unloading.

Aluminum Spill Response Shovels

This is a spill response shovel that can well address an aluminum spill incident. The non-sparking tools are designed to be collapsible for easy storage and assembly. Perfect for cleaning up hazardous materials, spent absorbents and contaminated soils, the shovel has a tempered aluminum 10" x 11" scoop and plastic "D" handle grip made of high aircraft quality 6061 T6 aluminum. On the handle there is a quick release button to make assembly easier.

Spill Response Squeegees

When cleaning liquid spills, you need to control the flow of the liquid so that it is easier to contain. These REMCO spill response squeegees are perfect for that.

Designed to control and direct liquid spills, these polyethylene squeegees are ideal to handle hazardous material cleanup. With the liquid easily directed towards the absorbents or spill control dikes, the cleanup job will turn out to be hardly a difficult one.

The squeegees are made of tough high-density polyethylene and flexible low-density polyethylene for the blade. The blade functions as fast and efficient cleaning tool with its curve model. Plug n' Dike

When a leak is free flowing and immediate sealing needs to be performed, the Plug N' Dike products could be a quick answer to the emergency. Made of unique polymer and mineral, the Plug n' Dike non toxic material seals leaks instantly. It forms a tight temporary seal immediately and is good to use against fuels and chemicals. What more? It even sticks to dirty, rusty or greasy surfaces! So if it fits perfectly for emergency situations as you don't need to do the normal surface cleaning before applying it!

Plug n' Dike plugs up to 2' – 3' pressure head. However, it is not recommended for use with acids, caustics or oxidizers.

Below are the different types of Plug n' Dike:

• Dry Granular. Storing indefinitely, dry granular forms temporary berms and dikes. It can also be kneaded with water to make a plug. Perfect for leak containment. Comes in 10 lb jar and 48 lb. jar.
• Premix. This is a ready use Plug n' Dike. All you need to do is open the 4 lb. tub and apply it right to the leak.
• Puck. A plug contained in a 10 oz. tub, perfect for spill response kits.
• Drain Cover. This one is a reusable polyethylene cover with Plug n' Dike edge-sealing strips. The edge sealing strips are designed to be easily replaceable.
• Plug Rug. Plug rug is a fabric-reinforced pad. Use it by laying it over drains, storm sewers or pipe runs to prevent spills from entering. It is especially awesome for plugging large holes in containers. Plug rug comes in a package of 8" x 8" (4 in a box), 16" x 16" (4 in a box), 24" x 16" (4 in a box), and also 24" x 16" with only 2 items in a box. 

Instant Repair Kit in a Tube – Epoxy Putty

Epoxy putty is probably the handiest and the most instant repair kit for your pails and drums. Packed in a 4 oz. tube, the putty seals leaks and patches cracks quickly. All you need to do is to twist or cut off the amount needed, mix it in your hand for one minute and apply it to the cracks or leaks. It will stick like there was no crack before. After an hour, it is as hard as steel and can even be drilled, sawed or sanded.

Drum Tourniquet

Here is something that all forklift trucks need: Drum Tourniquet. It stops leaks fast from punctured or ruptured drums with no tools needed. All a forklift operator needs to do is just to get the stainless steel Tourniquet from its storage bag and attaches it to the leak.

With a large, thick sealing pad and closed-cell foam covered with chemical-resistant EPDM, the tourniquet fills the cracks of the puncture and instantly blocks and seals the leak. This automatically minimizes cleanup cost and save valuable material.

There are two types of drum tourniquets that we offer: magnetic tourniquet and universal tourniquet. The magnetic tourniquet has 2 super powerful non-sparking permanent magnets which are able to hold tightly to steel drums; while universal tourniquet has the magnets plus a nylon ratchet tightening strap. The latter is to use with all drums: steel, plastic and fiber.

In addition, you might need a storage bag to contain your tourniquet. It is made of vinyl with Velcro closure. The bag is designed to easily mount to forklift with included elastic cords.

Reusable Drum Leak Patch

The patch seals leaks quickly on 55 gallon drum handling a quite large patch area. Not only is it easy to use, the polyurethane patch blocks leaks from any kinds of drum (steel, plastic or fiber). These leak repair kits are suitable for use on drums, tanks and railcars. High Capacity Drum Cradles

If you are looking for a drum cradle that has less chance of slippage, this high capacity drum cradle might suit that purpose well. The all double welded steel frame is equipped with exclusive skid resister that prevents events of slippage from happening. Measuring at 30" L and 18" W and 20 ¼" H, the cradle handles 55 gallon steel drums with 1,000 lb capacity.

The cradle's nose plate has built-in lower chime hook which is dedicated to prevent sliding. There is a zinc-plated tipping lever that lets easy drum tipping from solely one man. For this type of high capacity drum cradle, your steel drums should be at least 29" H and have a top chime for the chime hook on the handle to operate with the drum.

Double Drum Dolly

Do you have a couple of drums that you need to transport and you don't want to waste time carrying them one by one? You may want to check out this double drum dolly. Made of heavy duty steel frame with four 3" wide cross strips, the double dolly increases productivity in your workplace.

With this dolly, the drums are securely contained within the 2 ½ deep ring and the 2 ½" angle stiffener supports the load and reduces flexing. The dolly is able to handle 1,800 lb. capacity and places the two drums 5 ¼" off the floor. The six 4" diameter wheels are made of polyolefin and they help provide a total maneuverability for the dolly.

These drum dollies are available for 30 gallon drums and 55 gallon drums.

Drum Cleaning Chain – Rust Buster

A part of drum reconditioning procedures includes the act of removing rust in the drum. This drum cleaning chain works well for that job. With exceptional resistance to tangling and balling, the rust cleaning chain is 50 ft long, yet flexible and easy to remove after the cleaning task is done.
