So What Is Earth Day?

We hear so many talk about Earth Day, and many of us glaze over it because we are not into that Recycling thing or feel totally called to 'Save The Earth', but here are a few things you can do to benefit yourself and contribute to Earth Day.

Collect Rain in a Rain Barrel to save on your water bill and be able to use water when you want rather than have the city dictate to you how much you can use.
Store Bulk Food in a 5 Gallon Bucket; such as beans and rice.
Recycle trash such as cans and plastics in Open Head Drums-Quick and Easy.

Reuse * Recycle * Restore * Replenish * Reduce

Doing anything is doing something.

It may not seem important today, but it will be tomorrow! Earth day is about reducing the human footprint, which is decreasing the harm done to the earth to make it last longer.

ReUse: Plastic Containers for leftovers are perfect to reuse because they are plastic and therefore washable.

ReCycle: Collect Bottles, Cans or plastic containers and simply throw them into an open head barrel and tote them to the road for recycle day. There are also companies who will come get them.

ReStore: Fix old furniture and re-purpose it into something you can use now, such as an old desk or dining set.

RePlenish: By collecting your own Rain Water you replenish the city shortages.

ReDuce: Lower the Carbon Dioxide in the Air by reducing the amount you drive. Car Pool or catch the Bus.

What is Rain Harvesting?

Basically, this is the collection or harnessing of rain into a container for your disposal and later use. The most economical and sanitary type of tank to collect rain is in a HDPE Plastic Container, which is BPA Free, & FDA approved.
