When Did Fireworks Come to the United States of America?
Fireworks originally called pyrotechnics were first introduced to the United States in 1776, just days after we signed the Declaration of Independence to Commemorate the Birth of Our Nation. Over the years fireworks are a staple of our celebration to many things, including the 4th of July and New Years Eve being the two biggest displays of these explosive rockets. Fireworks seem to be a Universal bond between people and the displays get bigger and bigger every year.
Our American Flag
Believe it or not has been Inspired by Fireworks for many years. The Stars of course representing the number of states throughout the years have been displayed as a star not only representing the mark of a new state in the nation but also exemplified through bursts of firework displays celebrating Independence and Freedom! The Flag, through a variety of iconic designs before settling on the current display we have today, has been a symbol of Freedom since the Birth of Our Nation. The most Iconic Flag in the World the stars and stripes represent not only freedom but hope for a new future. Each 4th of July as you hear the Burst of the Fireworks remember those who have made it possible for you to live in this great nation!
Enjoy Your Freedom this Fourth of July!!!
